Our team brings a combination of surrogacy coordination experience, legal fluency, medical knowledge, and, in many cases, personal lived experience as intended parents, surrogates, or egg donors. We do not hire generalists. Everyone on this team was chosen for a specific reason.

We are intentional about our caseload. We do not take on more journeys than we can support well. Every intended parent and surrogate works with a dedicated coordinator, not a rotating team, for the duration of their journey.

You will have one dedicated coordinator assigned to your journey from the beginning. That person knows your file, knows your situation, and is your direct point of contact for everything. You will not be passed around.

Match timelines vary. In our USA program, most intended parents are matched within 1 to 4 months. In our Mexico program, timelines can move faster. Your coordinator will give you a realistic projection based on your specific profile and situation.

Yes. Every surrogate in our program completes a medical pre-screening review, a comprehensive background check, and a psychoeducational evaluation with a licensed mental health professional before being presented to any intended parent family.

We provide honest, detailed estimates during your financial review. We cannot guarantee that no unexpected costs will arise, surrogacy involves medical and legal variables that can shift. What we commit to is full transparency upfront about every cost that can be anticipated, and immediate communication if anything changes during the journey.

All funds are managed through an independent, third-party escrow company. Neither Avenir Fertility nor the intended parents have direct control over disbursements, payments are made according to the schedule outlined in your Gestational Carrier Agreement.

In some cases, yes. This is something to discuss directly with your coordinator. There are certain standards we require all partners to meet, and we will be transparent about what flexibility exists and what does not.
