Are You Ready to Begin? Before we match you with a surrogate, we want to make sure this journey is set up for success, for you, for her, and for the family you are working toward.

Becoming a parent through surrogacy is one of the most meaningful decisions you will ever make. Our requirements are not barriers, they are the foundation of a journey done right. Every guideline exists to protect you, your surrogate, and the child you are bringing into the world.

Age Requirements

Intended parents must be at least 21 years of age. For ethical reasons, and consistent with the standards upheld by most fertility clinics we work with, we apply the following maximum age guidelines:

  • Individual intended parents must be no older than 55 years of age.
  • For couples where one partner is over 60, the other partner must be under 50 years of age.

These guidelines exist to protect the wellbeing of everyone in the journey, including the child. We evaluate every situation with care and will always have an honest conversation with you if questions arise around eligibility.

Medical Evaluation

All intended parents are required to complete a medical consultation prior to matching. This helps us understand your fertility history, determine the right path forward, and ensure a realistic journey plan is in place from day one.

Embryo Requirements

We require that intended parents have a minimum of 2 PGT-A tested embryos determined to be viable by their IVF physician before being matched with a surrogate. PGT-A, pre-implantation genetic testing for aneuploidy, is the standard in ensuring high success rates in IVF. Our surrogates are fully educated on what it means to work with PGT-A tested embryos: in most cases, it means only 1 or 2 transfers are needed to achieve a successful delivery. That is good news for everyone.

We do accept intended parents into our program with one or no embryos, but those families must be actively willing to create additional embryos while on the match list. We will not match until the minimum is met.

We follow a single embryo transfer (SET) policy as our standard practice, in alignment with leading reproductive medicine guidelines. Exceptions may be considered based on your treating physician’s medical recommendation.

Why we require at least 2 viable embryos: This is not just a policy, it is a commitment. Our surrogates give an enormous amount of themselves to this journey. We believe every surrogate deserves more than one opportunity to achieve what she signed up for: a healthy live birth. Two viable embryos gives her, and you, that real chance.

Financial Readiness

Surrogacy is a significant financial commitment. Intended parents must demonstrate the financial ability to cover all journey-related costs, including surrogate compensation, medical expenses, legal fees, and agency fee, before the match is finalized. We will walk you through every cost, line by line, with no hidden surprises.

Background Screening

All intended parents are required to complete a comprehensive background check as part of the application process. This is standard practice and applies to every family we work with, no exceptions. It protects everyone in the journey.

Legal Residency & Nationality

We work with intended parents from around the world. Legal requirements vary depending on your country of residence and nationality. Our team will assess your specific situation during the consultation process and provide full transparency on any legal considerations that apply to you before you commit to anything.

Psycho-educational Consultation

All intended parents are required to complete a psycho-educational consultation with a licensed mental health professional experienced in third-party reproduction. This is not a screening to exclude you, it is a space to prepare you. Surrogacy is emotionally complex, and we want you going into this journey informed and grounded.

Socioeconomic & Social Worker Evaluation

As part of our intake process, all intended parents are required to complete a socioeconomic evaluation conducted by a licensed social worker experienced in third-party reproduction. This evaluation is not a judgment of your lifestyle or your worth as a parent. It is a structured review designed to ensure that the environment you are building your family into is stable, prepared, and ready to support a child.

We Support Social Surrogacy

We believe the reasons you choose surrogacy are yours. We support intended parents pursuing surrogacy for social reasons, including those who are physically able to carry but choose surrogacy as their path to parenthood. You will not be judged here. You will be supported.
