INTERNATIONAL INTENDED PARENTS
Does surrogacy in the US cost more for international intended parents?
The core costs of the journey are the same regardless of where you live. International intended parents may have additional costs related to travel, visa requirements, and bringing their child home, all of which are discussed in full during your financial review.
How many visits will I need to make to the country?
This depends on your program and your specific journey. Your coordinator will give you a realistic travel projection based on your situation, including which visits are essential and which can be managed remotely.
How long should I expect to be in the country before and after delivery?
Most international intended parents plan to arrive shortly before the due date and remain for several weeks after delivery while legal and documentation processes are completed. Your coordinator and attorney will give you a specific timeline projection based on your nationality and circumstances.
If I do not live in the United States, how will my child get a passport?
This depends on your nationality and your country’s citizenship laws. Your independent reproductive attorney and coordinator will guide you through the documentation process, including passport and citizenship applications, specific to your situation.
I have my own surrogate. Can you coordinate my journey?
Yes. If you have already identified a surrogate independently, we can step in to coordinate the medical, legal, and logistical aspects of your journey from that point forward.
I am on an independent journey. Can you still help me?
Yes. We work with intended parents at various stages of their journey, including those who have already begun independently. Reach out and we will assess where you are and how we can support you from there.
